STRIP THE BUILD-UP
Wise Guy is a high-foaming, non-acid tire and wheel cleaner built to lift road grime and strip old tire dressing in a single pass. The thick foam clings to vertical surfaces so the cleaner has time to actually work before you rinse — no aggressive chemistry, no ten-minute scrub sessions. It’s the right call for regular maintenance washes on factory, painted, powder-coated, and chrome wheels that see normal road use — not for caked-on, heavy brake dust.

-
High-foaming formula: Thick foam clings to tires and wheels for extended dwell time, giving the cleaner room to break down road grime before it gets rinsed away.
-
Strips old tire dressing: Removes dressing residue and build-up so every detail starts on a clean canvas — perfect prep for Decked Out Tire Dressing.
-
Non-acid chemistry: Safe on factory, painted, powder-coated, and chrome wheels. Cleans hard without the risk of an aggressive acid-based formula.
-
Concentrated — dilute 1:1: Cut it with water for the right balance of cleaning power. Running it straight wastes product without cleaning any better. Each 16 oz. bottle ships with a Wise Guy-labeled spray bottle to mix and apply the diluted product.
-
NOT for anodized or polished aluminum wheels:These finishes need a milder cleaner — see the Detailer Tips below.
-
AVOID ceramic coated wheels: For coated wheels, use the pH-balanced Cool Guy Wheel Cleanerinstead.
HOW TO USE
TIRE & WHEEL CLEANING
-
Rinse wheels and tires thoroughly to knock off loose dirt and cool the surface.
-
Dilute Wise Guy 1:1 with water in a spray bottle.
-
Spray liberally onto tires and wheels. Let the foam dwell 30–60 seconds — do not let it dry on the surface.
-
Agitate tires with the Tire Tamer. Agitate wheels with Shine Supply Wheel Brushes. Hit the barrels and lug pockets while you’re in there.
-
Rinse completely before moving to the next wheel.
-
Dry the tire, then apply Decked Out Tire Dressing for a finished look.
DETAILER TIPS
-
Work one wheel at a time. The product cleans by dwelling — if it dries on the surface, you’ve lost the dwell and you’ll see streaks.
-
Always work in the shade on cool wheels. Heat causes flash-drying and can dull certain finishes.
-
For anodized or polished aluminum, skip Wise Guy and use a pH-neutral cleaner like Cool Guy.
-
Pair with Decked Out for a complete tire program: strip with Wise Guy, dress with Decked Out.
-
Pair Wise Guy with the right brushes for the best results — the Tire Tamer on tires, Shine Supply Wheel Brushes on wheels. Good chemistry only works as well as the agitation behind it.
